Asia Editor

Vincent N. is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Asia Editor at NPR since October 2022, leading a team of correspondents across Asia and managing content for various platforms. Prior to this, Vincent was the China Affairs Correspondent and Bureau Chief at The Guardian from April 2021 to October 2022. As a co-founder of the CSDS-Asia Matters Podcast, Vincent facilitated its acquisition by the Brussels School of Governance and formed strategic partnerships with notable institutions. Previous roles include co-founding the BBC Asia Brief and serving as a senior journalist and multimedia producer at BBC News from April 2014 to April 2021. Vincent's career began as an international correspondent for Caixin Global, covering significant global events. Academic credentials include studies at the University of Oxford and Yale University, where Vincent participated in the prestigious Yale World Fellows program and mentored students.
