William Troop

William Troop is an experienced broadcasting professional currently serving as a Supervising Editor at NPR since August 2019. Prior to this role, William held the position of Senior Editor/Supervising Producer at PRI/PRX from September 1995 to August 2019, and previously worked at NPR as an Editor from July 1997 to August 1998. William also served as News Director at WAMU 88.5 from 1992 to 1995 and as a Producer at NPR from 1988 to 1992. William's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from American University, attended from 1985 to 1987, and studies at James Madison University from 1983 to 1985.
