Zayrha Rodriguez

Zayrha Rodriguez is an experienced media professional with a strong background in journalism and visual production. Currently serving as an Associate Producer at NPR since June 2021, Zayrha has demonstrated skills in conducting photo and video research, editing short videos for visual newscasts and social media, and collaborating in content creation. Previous experience includes a Visual Intern role at The Marshall Project and a Staff Photographer position at The Daily Tar Heel, where Zayrha focused on original photography and story illustration. Other notable roles include a Social Media Intern at WPLG, a Videographer at UNC Global Storytelling, and positions at Radio Latijam and IZZI Logistics, showcasing a diverse skill set in content creation, social media management, and storytelling. Zayrha holds a B.A. in Journalism from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media and has pursued additional studies in multicultural communication and international relations.
