Ali Ahmed

Ali Ahmed is currently the Director at NRB Bank. Prior to this, they were Vice President & Manager (Credit & Foreign Trade) at Trust Bank Limited from July 2014 to February 2016. Ali was also in charge of the credit portfolio of the branch and supervised a funded portfolio of Tk. 360 crore with a 7-member credit team in traditional banking system as Credit In-charge. Additionally, they have also worked with ONE Bank Limited as Senior Officer from September 2004 to June 2005 and Prime Bank Limited from July 2000 to August 2004.

Ali Ahmed has a certification from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in CERM, and they also have a postgraduate diploma in industrial management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management. Ali holds a faculty of business studies (evening); master's degree in finance and social sciences from the University of Dhaka, and they also have a foundation training course in banking and financial support services from the Prime Bank Training Institute. In addition, they have a degree in MBA finance from the University of Dhaka, and they also have a bachelor's degree in social sciences (honors) in economics from the University of Dhaka. Lastly, they have a higher secondary certificate in physical sciences from Notre Dame College, as well as an SSC in science from Adamjee High School.
