Mohammed Ibrahim

Professor

Mohammed Ibrahim is a professor and head of the Food Toxicology and Contaminants Department, as well as the Chromatographic Lab at the National Research Center in Cairo, Egypt. They completed a Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Biochemistry in 1992, followed by a Master of Science in Biochemistry in 1999, and earned their PhD in Biochemistry from Cairo University in 2005. Their research has focused on mycotoxins detection and biochemical studies on fumonisins, contributing to over 50 publications and involvement in various national and international scientific projects. Ibrahim has received several awards, including the Proof Khayria Naguib prize in 2013, and continues to lead research efforts in food safety and toxicology.
