Samuel Goree

Samuel Goree is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Stonehill College since August 2023. Previously, Samuel held various roles at Indiana University Bloomington from August 2018 to August 2023, including Graduate Research Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior to that, Samuel worked as a Data Scientist at RTI International, where responsibilities included data analysis, visualization, machine learning, software engineering, and web development in collaboration with social scientists on government and private sector contracts. Samuel's earlier experiences include grading and holding office hours in the Computer Science Department at Oberlin College, conducting undergraduate research in deep learning at Harvey Mudd College, and engaging in artificial intelligence research at Siena College. Samuel's academic background includes a PhD in Informatics from Indiana University Bloomington, a BA in Computer Science and Musical Studies from Oberlin College, and a high school diploma from Bronx High School of Science.
