Tapani Saarinen

Tapani Saarinen has extensive work experience in the railway industry. Tapani currently holds the position of Head of Development and Fleet at NRC Group Finland and has been in this role since 2019. Prior to this, they also held the same position at VR Track Oy from 2017. Additionally, they served as the Head of Operations at VR Track Oy from 2014. Before joining VR Track Oy, they worked as the Technical Director at VolkerRail Finland from 2009 to 2010 and as a Product Manager at VR Track Oy from 2004 to 2009.

Tapani Saarinen attended TTK Tampere from 1988 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Machinery Construction.
