Sandra Smallenburg

Sandra Smallenburg is currently the Adjunct-hoofdredacteur at NRC and has been with NRC Handelsblad since 1997, where they serve as an art editor. They worked as a freelance art correspondent for ARTnews from 2007 to 2010 and were an art critic for Leidsch Dagblad in 1996–1997. In 2011, Sandra contributed as a freelance art critic for Artforum. They hold a Drs degree in Art History from Leiden University, which they completed in 1996, and were educated at Rijnlands Lyceum Sassenheim from 1985 to 1991.
