Guillermo Layerenza is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in project management and consulting within the power sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at NRECA International since January 2015, Layerenza brings prior expertise as a Project Manager at Tetra Tech, where responsibilities included technical advising and business development. Earlier in the career, Layerenza held the role of Principal Consultant at PA Consulting Group, providing valuable insights to power distribution utilities and regulators. Experience also includes consulting at Hagler Bailly, focusing on tariff studies and regulatory frameworks in Latin America. Guillermo Layerenza holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de La Plata and an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, complemented by specialized training in tariff mechanisms for competitive electricity markets from the University of Buenos Aires.
