Nicholas Allen

Nicholas Allen possesses extensive experience in electrification and renewable energy projects, primarily through roles at NRECA International, where responsibilities have included Vice President, International Projects Director, and Senior Engineer since July 2007. His work focuses on supporting electrification initiatives across Africa and includes significant consulting experience in rural electrification, GIS, and demand analysis for various international projects funded by organizations such as USAID and the World Bank. Prior experience includes GIS analysis at Winrock International and environmental education with the Peace Corps in Mauritania. Nicholas Allen holds an M.A. in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
