Patrick McLean has a solid results-oriented career, with experience in various roles related to enterprise and solution architecture. Patrick has served as the Vice President of Infrastructure and Architecture at NRECA since 2007, leading cross-functional teams in achieving mission-critical results through re-architecture and cloud migrations. Prior to that, they were a Solutions Architect at NRECA, where they led a team in designing and implementing software solutions for employee benefits. Patrick's career began as a Computer Programmer at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Patrick McLean has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Prince George's Community College from 1982 to 1985 and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Management with a focus on Information Technology. Additionally, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1986 to 1988 for Computer Management and Information Systems but did not obtain a degree. Patrick McLean has also obtained several certifications, including the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 and Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSKv4) from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2022 and 2019 respectively. Patrick also has certifications in IBM Microservices Specialization from IBM in 2019, TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in 2011, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2009.
