Scot Hoffman is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in journalism and media. Currently serving as the Editor of RE Magazine and NRECA News, as well as the host of the Along Those Lines podcast at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association since January 2009, Scot has a strong background in producing engaging content. Previous roles include Writer/Editor at National Geographic from February 2006 to December 2008, where Scot researched and crafted informative articles on a wide variety of topics. Additionally, Scot held the position of Director of the Network News Division at Morningside Partners, LLC in 2005, overseeing the production of verbatim transcripts for major news networks, and served as News Director at Federal News Service from 1995 to 2005, managing real-time news transcripts for a large subscriber base. Scot holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Virginia Tech.
