Katie Craig

Katie Craig currently serves as a Recruiter at NRG Consulting Group and as a Language and Cultural Assistant at NALCAP, where responsibilities include preparing lessons and teaching English and American culture to children in Tenerife, Spain. Previously, Katie held several roles at PIRG, culminating in the position of North Carolina PIRG State Director, responsible for advocacy and organizing efforts focused on public interest policies. Earlier roles included NCPIRG Campus Action Organizing Director, where management of a team of campus organizers took place, and Campus Organizer, focusing on student engagement and grassroots campaigns. Additional experience includes an internship at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, assisting in pre-trial felony case preparations. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
