Jacklyn Powalski

Jacklyn Powalski, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Direct Tax at NRG Energy since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Income Tax Director, Income Tax Manager, and State Income Senior Tax Analyst at Direct Energy from July 2015 to January 2021. Jacklyn began their career at KPMG, progressing from State and Local Tax Associate to Senior Associate between July 2013 and July 2015. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on Tax Consulting and Financial Planning from Texas A&M University (2012-2013) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution (2008-2012).
