Jorge Reyes

Jorge Reyes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trade operations and client service within the financial sector. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst in Trade Operations at NRG Energy since January 2021, formerly known as Direct Energy, Jorge is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction captures, assisting with end-of-day and end-of-month closing duties, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Prior to this role, Jorge held similar senior analyst positions at Direct Energy Business and has a strong background in client service from tenure at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, where expertise in trade monitoring and booking was developed. Jorge’s career also includes trade support roles at Deutsche Asset Management and various broker positions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of equity and fixed income markets. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from SUNY New Paltz.
