Kamal Narang

Kamal Narang currently serves as the VP of Retail Optimization and Analytics at NRG Energy, a position held since July 2017, focusing on managing the retail customer portfolio and driving strategic initiatives. Prior roles at NRG Energy include Director of Portfolio Management and Director of Margin Management, Pricing and Business Analytics, contributing significantly to profit and loss management across various markets. Previously, Kamal held positions at Green Mountain Energy, managing the P&L for its commercial and residential businesses, and at Direct Energy, leading teams in pricing, analytics, and portfolio management. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Analyst at Reliant Energy, specializing in electric product development. Kamal holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Mesra.
