Sabrenia Baxter

Sabrenia (Thompson) Baxter is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in digital transformation and IT strategy. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Enterprise Digital at NRG Energy since January 2008, Sabrenia has successfully led a company-wide adoption of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, enhancing maturity, adoption rates, and savings. Previously, Sabrenia held positions as Sr. IT Manager and Director of IT for multiple not-for-profit associations, where strategic IT planning and project management were key responsibilities. Early career roles included Webmaster at The Council of State Governments and Web Content & Commerce Engineering Lead at Avnet Electronics. Sabrenia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and Statistics from Morehead State University.
