Susan Rogers

Susan Rogers, P.E. has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of Safety, Training and Operations Support at NRG Energy since February 2010, following a role as Director of Outage Management. Previous experience includes owning Quidley Guitar Amplifiers and holding various leadership positions at Progress Energy, where responsibilities encompassed plant maintenance, nuclear assessment, IT security, and major projects management. Earlier roles at General Electric focused on manufacturing leadership within nuclear fuel fabrication, and at Progress Energy, Susan Rogers held various engineering and leadership positions at the Brunswick Plant and the Harris Nuclear Plant. Susan Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University between 1979 and 1982.
