Tamara Palmer

Tamara Palmer, PCIP, currently serves as the Director of Cyber Risk, Compliance & Privacy at NRG Energy since June 2023, following a long tenure at Vivint starting in June 2015 where multiple leadership roles were held, including Director and Sr. Manager of Cyber Risk & Compliance. Prior experience includes serving as the Security & Internal Control Officer at inContact from September 2002 to June 2015, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory compliance management, risk mitigation, and internal audit planning. Previous roles also include Director of Sales/Marketing at Microtel Inn & Suites from 2000 to 2002, and a Clerk Typist in the United States Army Reserve from 1990 to 1998, where several medals of accommodations were received. Educational qualifications include a BS in Finance from Western Governors University.
