David Cho has a long history of working in the esports industry. David began their career in 2008 with WinOut as a Content Manager, where they increased the YouTube channel by 2,000,000 views and achieved multiple #1 search results for critical keywords. In 2011, they took on the role of General Manager for ZOWIE GEAR, managing an esports team that competed in tournaments around the world. David then moved on to Playwith Interactive in 2012 as a Project Manager, managing the North American mobile games department and travelling to the parent company in South Korea as the American liaison. In 2011, they began working for ESS AGENCY as a Video Producer, producing marketing video assets for clients such as BenQ, Best Buy, Nvidia, Plantronics, Samsung and Twitch. In 2014, ESS AGENCY was acquired by ESL, where they worked full time as a Video Producer and Replay Operator, producing video content for live streams hosted in sold out stadiums around the world. In 2017, they took on the role of Video Producer for Hi-Rez Studios, producing daily video content for the Paladins Premier League and weekly video content for the SMITE Pro League. In 2019, they became the Owner of DchozN LLC. Finally, in 2020, they were appointed Senior Director of Content for NRG Esports, overseeing daily original video content and managing the content machine of video editors, producers, graphic and motion graphics designers, 3D animators, translators, community managers and talent. Under their leadership, NRG surpassed 2,000,000,000 views in 2022, an increase from 1,000,000,000 views in 2021 across all of their different platforms.
David Cho graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Digital Media from the College of Mass Communications and Media Arts.
