Jim Smith

Jim Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jim started their career in 1988 as a Special Agent & Registered Representative at Prudential Financial, where they worked until 1992. From 1992 to 1993, they served as a Commercial Banking Associate at American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago. In 1993, they joined Norwest Bank Iowa N.A. as an Assistant Vice President, specializing in Business Banking. Jim then moved on to APAC Customer Service in 1996, where they held the position of Vice President of Finance until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at HALO Branded Solutions. Jim then joined Highway Equipment Company as their Chief Financial Officer, a position they held from 2004 to 2007. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at NRG Media LLC, a role they have held since November 2007.

Jim Smith received their Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Finance and Economics from Loras College from 1984 to 1988. Jim then pursued further education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Marketing from 1993 to 1996.
