Hamid Anwar

Hamid Anwar is an experienced professional in compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Compliance & Risk at NRSP Microfinance Bank since October 2017. Previously, Hamid held the position of Regional Manager Compliance (Central) at U Microfinance Bank Limited, where responsibilities included compliance, development, training, monitoring, and investigations. Hamid's career also includes leadership roles such as Director at IMAGE Education System and Branch Manager & Coordinator for Legal Affairs at Kashf Microfinance Bank Limited. Early experience includes a position as Team Leader at ABN AMRO Bank / Faysal Bank. Hamid Anwar holds a Master's degree in Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature/Journalism from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and completed pre-engineering and secondary education at Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur.
