Astrid Messmer

Astrid Messmer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic management and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Beiratsmitglied at NRW.BANK and an Advisory Board Member at both Wittenberg-Zentrum für Globale Ethik and PPI AG since 2021, Astrid also holds the position of Head of Infrastructure Strategy & Analytics at Lufthansa, where responsibilities include segment strategy, sustainability, functional strategy development, and strategic process implementation since 2011. Astrid Messmer earned a Diplom-Kauffrau degree in economics, financial markets, and corporate finance from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg between 1992 and 1998.
