Garrett Jones

Garrett Jones has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Garrett is currently employed as an Associate System Engineer at National Storage Affiliates since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fastenal Company from September 2019 to August 2022 as a Supply Chain Associate. In this role, Garrett provided logistical services and supervised Warehouse Workers to ensure smooth operations. Garrett also managed the stockroom's appearance and coordinated workflow to improve service levels.

During June and July 2022, Garrett worked on a project called Microsoft Azure SIEM Lab at Home Lab. Their tasks included using PowerShell scripts to extract data, configuring Log Analytics Workspace in Azure, and creating custom fields for mapping geo data in Azure Sentinel.

In 2018, Garrett completed a School Project where they built virtual machines within their PC, managed the domain using Active Directory and PowerShell. As part of the same project, they also worked on the C&O Windows Project, where they developed an application for inventory management using Excel. Additionally, they participated in the ISSA Project/TVA Project, assisting in network infrastructure and vulnerability assessment, as well as presenting findings and solutions as part of a team.

Garrett Jones obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Colorado State University Pueblo. Garrett attended the university from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their degree, Garrett also holds a certification in Jira Fundamentals Badge, which they obtained from Atlassian in June 2022.
