Aya Yagan

Aya Yagan is a seasoned professional in humanitarian and developmental sectors, currently serving as a CHS Trainer at CHS Alliance since January 2024, where expertise in Core Humanitarian Standards is applied to train humanitarian workers. As Technical Director at NSDation since November 2018, Aya ensures the delivery of high-quality monitoring and evaluation services while spearheading research projects that enhance operational capabilities for humanitarian actors. With a long-standing involvement as a Sphere Trainer since August 2013, Aya has led numerous training initiatives and contributed to Sphere capacity building programs. Previous roles include Monitoring and Evaluation Component Lead at Proximity International and Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at RMTeam International, along with significant experience at Save the Children International in MEAL management and training first aid at Syrian Arab Red Crescent. Aya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a focus on Financial and Banking Sciences from Aleppo University.
