Anantharaman Sreenivasan

Anantharaman Sreenivasan has over two decades of enriched experiences in various markets and industry verticals, across consulting, technology, operations and products.

In his erstwhile role, Anantharaman was the Vice President & Country Head, India Market for Cognizant. Here he was responsible for client centricity, P&L, business and strategic direction for this region. He was also part of the global Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the India Leadership Council (ILC) for Cognizant.

Earlier, he has worked in multiple leadership roles in IBM driving Digital business, Analytics, Cognitive and Cloud adoption for various industry verticals. He has been responsible for driving some of the largest digital transformation programs for BFSI clients in India. He has also worked closely with the Research and Software labs to explore and leverage adoption of new age technologies to address business problems, in his many stints.

Previously he was with iGate Global Solutions and was responsible for setting up their Media & Entertainment practice globally. Anantharaman spent his early years with two of India’s leading media houses Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd. (The Times Group) & The Indian Express Newspapers Ltd.

Anantharaman holds a B.E Mechanical degree from Pune University and a Masters in marketing management from N.M.I.M.S, Mumbai.
