Courtney Alston

Courtney Alston, CPFS, has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Courtney is currently serving as the Director of Product Certification Audit Delivery at NSF International since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Product Certification Audit Delivery Manager from January to June 2021 and as the Integrity Program Manager from June 2018 to January 2021.

Courtney started their career at NSF International in February 2008 as an Integrity Coordinator and later took on the role of Food Equipment Certification Account Manager from May 2014 to December 2015. Courtney originally joined the company as a Territory Manager and held that position for over 6 years, from February 2008 to May 2014.

Before joining NSF International, Courtney gained experience as an Environmental Health Specialist at VDH - Henrico County from November 2005 to February 2008. Prior to that, they also worked at the Virginia Department of Health in the Division of Immunizations from August 2003 to October 2005.

Courtney Alston, CPFS, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health from James Madison University from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, Courtney obtained certifications as a Certified Professional Food Safety from NEHA in August 2010 and as a HACCP Manager from NSF International in 2010.
