Joseph Pelukas

Joseph Pelukas has extensive experience in information security and privacy. Joseph is currently serving as the Senior Director of Information Security at NSF International since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked at FordDirect as the Director of Information Security & Controls (Chief Information Security Officer) from July 2016 to June 2020. In this role, they partnered with C-Suite executives and Ford Motor Company to strengthen the security and privacy program for a $500+ million digital marketing and sales joint venture. Before joining FordDirect, Joseph was the Director of Security Management at Truven Health Analytics in 2015 and served as the Manager Information Security/Information Security Officer at CareTech Solutions/Oakwood Healthcare from 2010 to 2015. Joseph started their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Security & Privacy Services Manager from 2005 to 2010.

Joseph Pelukas has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems from Wayne State University. Joseph also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the University of Michigan. In addition, they have obtained certifications including Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2020, Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control from ISACA in 2017, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2002.
