Richard Zhao

Richard ZHAO has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Richard started their career at China Telecom as a Senior Engineer for Security and then moved on to IS-One, where they served as Chief Strategy Officer. Richard later joined Computer Associates Int. as a Principal Consultant and contributed to various projects. Richard then joined Lenovo as the Director, Architect and Security Operations, where they played a key role in developing architecture solutions and standards for IT infrastructure and security operations. In 2009, they became Chief Strategy Officer at NSFOCUS, a position they held until 2014. During their tenure at NSFOCUS, Richard also served as the Chief Technology Officer and later as the Chief Operating Officer, International Business. In 2016, they became the Senior Vice President, Global Research at NSFOCUS. Additionally, Richard served on the Board of Directors for both CSA Greater China Chapter and CSA Silicon Valley Chapter during different time periods.

Richard Zhao attended Peking University from 1987 to 1997, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physics, Electronics, and Fiber Optics. Apart from their formal education, no information is provided regarding any additional certifications or qualifications they may have acquired.
