Dayna Leight began their work experience at Walgreens in 2008 as an Assistant Manager. In this role, they managed daily store operations, handled inventory worth $950K, and supervised a team of 27 employees. Dayna worked in this position until 2015.
In 2015, Leight joined Newell Brands and participated in the Supply Chain Management Development Program. Their first rotation was in the Customer Service Redesign Initiative, where they identified opportunities to improve efficiency and developed quality monitoring programs. Dayna also focused on user adoption rate by re-launching Salesforce. After this rotation, they moved to the role of Product Engineer, where they worked on cost-saving projects and managed Value Analysis/Value Engineering initiatives.
Leight then transitioned to Packaging Sourcing Analyst and subsequently held the role of Packaging Sourcing Leader - NPD. Dayna was responsible for sourcing packaging materials and overseeing new product development projects. Later, as the Sourcing Leader - Paperboard and Rigid, they managed sourcing strategies and executed successful sourcing initiatives. From 2020 to 2023, they served as a Sourcing Manager at Newell Brands.
Currently, Leight is working as a Global Sourcing Manager at NSI Industries since 2023.
Dayna Leight earned a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations from North Carolina State University, completing their education from 2012 to 2015.
