Jorge Roman, A.Sc.Eng., C.Tech. has a diverse range of experience in sales and engineering roles. Jorge began their career at Emerson Industrial Automation, where they worked as an Application Engineer and later as a Product Engineer, providing technical support, resolving issues, and designing products. Jorge then moved on to Satcon Technology Corporation, where they served as a Sales Application Engineer responsible for sales and technical support of DC and AC High Power Conversion Systems. After that, they joined Techspan Industries as a Regional Sales Manager, overseeing business development and sales functions. Following this, they worked at Rotalec as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for the sale and market development of motion control products. Jorge then joined TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company as a Controls Account Manager, focusing on sales strategies and initiatives in Ontario. Currently, Jorge is the Regional Sales Manager for Canada at NSi Industries LLC, where they lead sales and business development, recruits and manages a sales team, and meets financial objectives. Jorge started their educational journey in 1979 at Insituto Tecnologico Superior Carlos Cisneros, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Jorge successfully completed this program in 1984. After that, from 1982 to 1986, Jorge attended Instituto Tecnologico Superior Juan De Velasco, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business/Commerce, General.
Jorge's educational accomplishments continued with their enrollment at DeVry University from 1994 to 1997. During their time at DeVry University, they specialized in Electronic Engineering Technology and earned an A. Sc. Eng. degree.
In addition to their extensive educational background, Jorge has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2009, they completed the Canadian Professional Sales Association certification program. In 2012, Jorge obtained a certification from the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum. Two more certifications followed in the subsequent years: in 2013, they attained the OACETT C. TECH certification from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, and in 2015, they became a certified Industrial Electrician (442A) from the Ontario College of Trades.
