Peter Roman

Peter Roman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Peter started their career in 2006 as a Packaging Engineer at Newell Rubbermaid, where they managed packaging systems for the Commercial food-service product line and drove productivity projects. From 2008 to 2011, Peter worked as a Senior Field Sales Engineer, collaborating with various teams to generate and maintain sales and provide feedback for product quality. Peter then transitioned to the role of Senior Packaging Engineer, where they revamped packaging systems, created primary packaging for medical cart platforms, and drove productivity projects. In 2012, Peter became a Senior Platform Engineer at Newell Rubbermaid, serving as the primary contact for issues related to the CareLink product platform and managing quality issues and corrective actions. Peter continued in this role until 2014, when they took on the position of Sourcing Manager. As the Sourcing Manager, Peter utilized their experience and knowledge of the company's businesses to deliver the best cost and drive productivity, managing global paperboard and rigid packaging commodities. In 2018, Peter joined PM Packaging as the Director of Customer Service, and in 2019, they moved to Newell Brands as a Senior Manager of VA/VE. Currently, Peter is working at NSI Industries Inc as a Senior Manager of Global Sourcing, where they began in July 2021.

Peter Roman attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Packaging Science.
