James Popplewell

James Popplewell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at NSK Europe since November 2019, James is responsible for managing legal activities across European entities in ten countries, providing expertise in company, commercial, dispute resolution, competition, and data protection matters. Prior to this role, James worked as Assistant Legal Counsel at Pirelli, focusing on English legal entities and offering advice on diverse legal issues, including advertising and health and safety. James also has significant litigation experience from positions at Gateley Plc and Shakespeares, where involvement included general commercial litigation and contentious claims. James began the legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Harvey Ingram Shakespeares, gaining a breadth of experience in dispute resolution, property, and corporate law. Educationally, James holds degrees from the University of Leicester and De Montfort University.
