Daniel Gordon is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operational capability and performance within the public sector. Currently serving as the Director, Operational Capability and Performance at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice since February 2021, Daniel manages a multidisciplinary team focused on developing innovative policies and programs for the NSW Sheriff's Office. Daniel's career includes notable positions such as A/Sheriff of New South Wales, Executive roles in the Department of Premier and Cabinet, and a Superintendent at the Department of Justice. With an educational background that includes an Executive Master of Public Administration from ANZSOG and a Bachelor of Emergency Management from Charles Sturt University, Daniel is also pursuing a Diploma in Law. Daniel's expertise encompasses strategic advice, organizational development, and high-level analysis in complex operational environments.
