Jodie Minus

Jodie Minus is an experienced media and communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as the Director of Social Media, Design and Events at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice since August 2021, Jodie previously held the position of Media Manager at Corrective Services NSW from July 2016 to August 2021, where leadership of a high-performing team focused on promoting confidence in the corrections system. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Media Adviser for the City of Sydney, leading key campaigns, and working as a journalist for The Australian and The Illawarra Mercury, covering crime, courts, and general news. Jodie began a career at The Australian as an Editorial Assistant and freelance writer, contributing to various content areas including children's literature and travel.
