Wendy Keith currently serves as the Director of Specialist Operations in Infrastructure and Assets at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, a role held since March 2017. Previously, Wendy held the position of Director of the Housing Contact Centre within the Family and Community Services division. Before joining the Department of Communities and Justice, Wendy worked at the NSW Department of Education from November 2014 to March 2017 as the Manager of the Contact Centre. Additionally, from October 2011 to November 2014, Wendy managed the integration of various business units into the Department of Education Shared Service Centre while overseeing HR functions and budget management, and providing advice on operational matters to the Director of the Shared Service Centre. Wendy completed education at Model Farms High School.

The DCJ is the lead agency in the new Stronger Communities Cluster. The department enables services to better work together to support everyone's right to access justice and other help for families, and strengthen/bolster the promotion of early intervention and inclusion, with benefits for the whole community. Working together in the Stronger Communities cluster means we can continue to deliver services with a more unified and collaborative approach. There is now a greater focus on prevention and early intervention, faster responses, more seamless operations, less duplication of effort and better outcomes.
