Julia Green has extensive experience in legal roles focused on environmental and natural resources law. Since August 2013, Julia has held various positions at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, including Principal Legal Officer in Water Law and Natural Resources Law, and A/Director of Natural Resources Law. Prior to this, Julia worked at the Redfern Legal Centre as a Volunteer Solicitor and served as a Solicitor at Colin Biggers & Paisley and Gadens Lawyers. Julia also gained experience as a Secondee Solicitor in Litigation at the Environmental Defender's Office. Academically, Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree from Macquarie University and participated in a university exchange at Utrecht University.
