Tim Mahoney

Tim Mahoney is an experienced planning professional currently serving as the Acting Senior Case Manager at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure since June 2023, with previous roles including Senior Planning Officer and multiple acting positions within the department. Tim has gained extensive experience in the field of development assessment, having served as a Development Case Officer at Transport for NSW and as a Development Assessment Officer with Sutherland Shire Council, focusing on major projects. Additionally, Tim has played a vital role as a volunteer First Responder with St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) and has held planning-related positions with Wingecarribee Shire Council, City of Canterbury Bankstown, and Penrith City Council. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Canberra and a minor in Tourism and Planning from the University of Westminster.
