Tom Loomes

Tom Loomes currently serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Planning & Policy and Executive Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Implementation at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure since August 2023. Prior to this role, Tom was a Committee Member for both the Commercial Office and Cities Committee and the Planning Committee within the Property Council of Australia (NSW Division) from January to August 2023. From March 2022 to August 2023, Tom held the position of Executive Director for Cities Integration at Transport for NSW, where the Cities Integration function was established. Additional experience includes roles as A/Chief of Staff & Executive Director at the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, Director of Parliamentary Business in the Office of the Hon Rob Stokes MP, and various advisory positions, including at the Office of the Hon Mark Speakman SC, MP, and the Office of the Hon David Elliott MP.
