Pete Ramsay has extensive work experience in various roles related to data migration, development, and technical support. Pete began their career in 1990 as a Technical Support Analyst with Data Sciences, providing support for clients utilizing mainframe services. Pete then worked as a Technical Consultant, designing and implementing customer processing requirements.

In 1994, Pete joined Queensland Rail as an Analyst Programmer and later took on roles as a Web Developer/Project Manager and SAP HR/Payroll Data Migration and Reporting Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing development projects, designing reporting solutions, and executing data conversion processes for SAP implementation.

At Rio Tinto, Pete served as a Data Transformation Quality Specialist, focusing on preparing, cleansing, and loading legacy data into the target ECC6 system. Pete utilized the Back Office Associates ETL toolset and SQL Server for data extraction and manipulation.

Pete also worked as a Data Migration Specialist at Transport for New South Wales, where they audited, prepared, cleansed, and validated data for loading into the target ECC6 system. Pete collaborated with business representatives to understand requirements and define data cleansing and mapping requirements.

As a Website Developer at Jupiter Computing, Pete implemented websites for local businesses using the Bootstrap framework. Pete'swork improved online presence and created secure online stores for customers.

Before their current role as HCM Technical Data Lead at NSW Government, Pete served as a Senior Data Migration Consultant at Ventia Group and a Senior Data Migration Developer at The University of Queensland. In these roles, they focused on data migration and analysis, ensuring the successful transfer of data into new systems.

Throughout their career, Pete has demonstrated expertise in data migration, technical support, web development, and project management.

Pete Ramsay attended Bishop Wand Secondary School in London from 1979 to 1984. During their time there, they focused on English Literature, Design and Technology, and Computer Science, but no specific degree was mentioned.
