Steve Whan

Steve Whan MP currently serves as the Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education with the NSW Government and is a Member for Monaro in the Parliament of NSW. With a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles, Whan has held positions such as CEO of the National Irrigators' Council and Deputy Chair of Club Plus Super. Other notable roles include Independent Non-Executive Director at Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited and participation in advisory committees for water management. Whan’s political experience includes serving as a minister in multiple capacities, including Minister for Primary Industries and Emergency Services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Certificate in Management from Western Sydney University, complemented by a Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
