Elena Cavazzoni

Elena Cavazzoni is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney since August 2024, with extensive clinical leadership experience as the co-State Medical Director at NSW Health since June 2014, and as a PICU Staff Specialist at The Sydney Children's Hospital Network since December 2010. Prior roles include serving as an Anaesthetic Registrar, PICU Fellow, and PICU Registrar at the same institution from January 2008 to July 2010. Elena's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Neonatal Endocrinology from The University of Sheffield and a Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care from the University of Melbourne, complemented by training in Effective Writing for Health Care from Harvard University.
