Nick Rose

Nick Rose is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Surveillance Manager at NSW Health since July 2023 and a PhD Candidate at UNSW since May 2022. Previous roles include Database Manager at The Kirby Institute, Manager of Blood-Borne Viruses and Sexually Transmissible Infections at the NSW Ministry of Health, and various managerial and analytical positions focused on public health surveillance and epidemiology. Nick has a strong educational background with multiple degrees including a Fellowship in Public Health Medicine from RACP and a Master's in Health Administration from UNSW. An extensive career has involved providing expert biostatistical advice, managing communicable disease outbreaks, and developing critical information systems for public health monitoring and reporting in New South Wales.
