Cameron Smith is currently working as an Industrial Officer at NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association, focusing on organising Private Hospitals and Aged Care. Prior to this role, Cameron gained extensive experience in industrial advocacy and representation at various organizations such as CPSU - PSU Group and CSIRO Staff Association. Cameron also has a background in education, having worked as a sessional tutor at Macquarie University, UNSW, and Western Sydney University. Cameron is currently pursuing a Diploma in Law at the LPAB/LEC.

The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) is the registered union for all nurses and midwives in New South Wales. The Association represents the industrial interests of nurses and midwives employed in NSW, both the public and private sectors. Its role is to protect the interests of nurses, midwives and the nursing and midwifery professions.
