Ivo Lopes has been working in the software engineering industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Jr. System Analyst at Login Informática, where they developed solutions and performed maintenance on the company's management system using Java and SQL Server. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a System Analyst at Indra, where they were responsible for developing new systems and performing maintenance on existing systems using Java. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior System Analyst at Solutis Tecnologias, where they were responsible for developing new systems and performing maintenance of the legacy systems. In 2015, they also worked as a Senior System Analyst at Capgemini, where they were a member of the research team that was responsible for searching for solutions and performing proof of concept (POC) for problems faced by the developers' team. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Java Developer at Beblue, where they worked on developing a server-side enterprise application using the microservice architecture. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Prit, and currently works as a Senior Java Developer at NTConsult.

Ivo Lopes completed their Bachelor of System Analysis in Information Technology from Estácio between 2007 and 2010.
