Olubunmi Akinseye started working at Jumia Nigeria in November 2014 as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, they attracted potential customers by answering their inquiries and providing information about products and services. Olubunmi also maintained customer records, resolved complaints and ensured customer satisfaction. Olubunmi worked at Jumia Nigeria until February 2016. Olubunmi then joined ntel in May 2016 in a role related to consumer sales marketing.

Olubunmi Akinseye attended the University of Benin from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study was English Language and Literature, General. Olubunmi also pursued a Bachelor of Art degree in English Language and Literature/Letters during their time at the university.
