Jonathan Wheeler has a diverse work history with experience in various fields. Jonathan started their career as a Sales Associate at Menards in 2010. Jonathan's longest tenure was in the United States Air Force, where they served in several roles from 2006 to 2011. Jonathan started as a Crew Chief and later became an Aerospace Maintenance Journeyman and a Weapons System Controller. Jonathan received commendations from Air Force commanders for their hard work, dedication, and leadership. Jonathan also played a key role in maintaining aircraft and ensuring mission success.

In 2021, Jonathan joined the National Treasury Employees Union as the 2nd Vice President Chapter 34. Currently, they are working as an ITAS at the Internal Revenue Service, where they started in 2023.
