Alf Inge Wang

Professor

Alf Inge Wang is currently a professor in Game Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they teach courses on various aspects of programming and game development. They have co-founded Kahoot!, BitPet, and PlayPulse, and have served as chairman of JoinGame, a network aimed at promoting Norwegian game development and research. With a PhD in software engineering earned in 2001, Alf Inge's research spans game-based learning and software architecture, and they have published over 90 scientific papers. Additionally, they were a visiting researcher at the University of California, Irvine, and were recognized with the Norwegian Award for Technical Achievement in 2014.
