Trevor Laughlin

VP Product at nTopology

Trevor Laughlin is the current VP Product at nTopology. Trevor has also previously worked as a structural engineer for Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Aircraft Division from October 2012 to July 2015, and as a graduate research assistant for Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory from August 2009 to August 2012. As a graduate research assistant, they conducted cutting-edge research in aerospace engineering with an emphasis on the design, sizing and synthesis, configuration and concept selection, and performance analysis of unconventional fixed-wing aircraft systems. Trevor also developed an integrated physics-based modeling and simulation environment for structural weight estimation of the hybrid wing body aircraft as part of a NASA GSRP fellowship. In addition, they applied systems engineering techniques to recommend a solution portfolio to the FAA for interference between wind turbines and radar systems, and investigated the future demand, network, and optimal vehicle capacity of a small commercial aircraft using agent-based modeling and simulation.

Trevor Laughlin has a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. from Iowa State University.

Trevor Laughlin reports to Bradley Rothenberg, CEO. Trevor Laughlin works with Duann Scott - VP Marketing, Blake Courter - CTO, and Ignacio Fraga - VP Engineering.
