Botte Jellema

Botte Jellema is a seasoned freelance journalist and podcast maker with extensive experience in the media industry. Since February 2009, Botte has been creating and hosting original podcasts, including the series "De Eeuw van de Amateur," which fosters discussions on various topics with guests from the fields of art and science. Botte's documentary work spans multiple organizations, including NTR, HUMAN, and VPRO, contributing to initiatives like Docs, RadioDoc, and HollandDoc. Additionally, Botte has served as a correspondent for NTR Podium Radio 4 and held the role of editor for the news podcast "De Dag" at NOS until December 2023. Botte's academic background includes a Master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Groningen and a degree in business from NHL Hogeschool.
